Cont’Ugo is the newest wine from the estate (first vintage: 2011), a pure Merlot of power and complexity, coming from a strict selection of the 40ha of Merlot planted at Guado al Tasso

Cont’Ugo in an intense ruby red colour. The nose delivers intense aromas of small ripe red fruit accompanied by fresh balsamic notes of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, a velvety entry is sustained by excellent richness of flavors persistent throughout the tasting, closing with a pleasantly fruity finish.
